Kawasaki takes a new daring step in the Indian market and launches two of the top superbike machines: the ZX-10R and the mighty ZX-14R.
With a long and fruitful presence in India, thanks to the Bajaj Probiking division, Kawasaki has slowly expanded their roster with the 250R, 300 and 650 Ninjas, offered as CKD builds assembled locally. This has kept the prices down for the small and middleweight, but the two new machines will be imported directly, and in their case, prices will surely hike.

For starters, the Kawasaki ZX-10R and ZX-14R will only be available in the city of Pune, in a dedicated showroom in Wakdewadi, according to Autocar India. The same dealership will take care of after sale services, repairs and all.

The liter-class Ninja is offered for a base price of $23,375 (€17,737), whereas the ZX-14R retails for $25,195 (€19,125). Remains to see how will these two superbikes fare in the emerging Indian market, given the fact that the overwhelming majority of bikes are less than 200cc.
