Great news! The Jonway A380 SUV will be getting a facelift! Its Audi-inspired grille will be slightly altered, as will the Toyota-esque headlights - the rear lights, copied straight from the new BMW X3 will, in fact, remain unchanged.
Also staying the same is the distinctly RAV4-ish side profile of the car, with what appear to be rather large doors - excellent for getting out of this SUV in a hurry - a key factor for us.
The A380 (the name may have been taken from Airbus) was launched back in 2010 and it has apparently been a resounding success, competing with cars like the Chery Tiggo, Lifan X60 and JAC Rein - all excellent very cheap offerings.
The facelift also brings with it some nifty-looking LED DRL strips, located in the openings of the distinctly-BMW-esque front bumper, which is strongly reminiscent of an X5. THe A380 is priced very competitively, with the 1.6-liter version starting at 81,800 yuan, or €10,200 / $12,900.
