In between jokes about Swiss lakes, Swiss cheese and chill Swiss wine, Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson confirmed the really bad news for 2012. Yes folks, there will be no Top Gear this year except for a Christmas Special that hasn’t been filmed yet.
His Twitter post says it all: “There's a rumour in internet land that there will be no more Top Gears this year. I'm afraid that apart from an Xmas special, it's true.”

The reason it seems is Codpiece Cowell and the fat people that like to sing: "Would love to be back in the Autumn but Sunday nights then will be full of fat people singing. Top Gear is a medium sized van. Cowell is a juggernaut. When he has finished his singing competition, our new series will start."

On the bright side, Jeremy says they will be back with really good episodes in January. Let’s just hope the cars in them are still relevant. In the meantime the boys will have plenty more time to enjoy cheese, whine and Swiss lakes.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
