Jeep is the fastest growing car brand in Europe, having registered a growth of 62% in 2011. The growth trend continues in 2012, as Jeep has sold 9,807 units in the first four months of the year, marking a further increase of 52% over last year.
Their plans are very ambitious, following the announcement that they will be sponsoring the Turin-based Juventus Football Club over the next 3 years, spending some €30- ($37-) million on that deal alone. However, if they are to reach their target goal of 125,000 units sold in 2015, they need to do more than just promote.

And, well, they are doing more, as they’re bringing out three new models, specially for the European market as well as opening new dealerships reaching 650 of them by 2014 (up from the current 518). The first of these new models is a Fiat-based sub 4.2-meter long vehicle, currently dubbed the B-SUV, which will go on sale in mid-2014. Following the ‘baby’ of the range, Jeep will also launch a redesigned Cherokee mid-sized SUV which will be equipped with a Fiat-sourced 2.0-liter 170 hp diesel engine.

The last vehicle to come to Europe is a replacement for the Compass and Patriot models, which will be built i the US and imported to the Old Continent, also in 2014. Considering the fact that 95% of Jeeps sold in Europe are diesel-powered, we expect the larger offerings by Jeep to be diesel-focused, with only their SRT models being petrol powered - but this is just pure speculation.
