Once again, Jeep teamed up with Mopar to develop a suite of aesthetic customization options for the American manufacturer's latest models. The result of this joint effort was baptized 'Jeep Custom Hood Decals' and, as the name implies, it consists of pre-configured hood decals and even personalized designs.
Amusingly enough, Jeep and Mopar took the term "road map" in a very literal way with this personalization program. Owners of the Jeep Wrangler, Cherokee and Grand Cherokee can now customize the bonnets of their off-road vehicles with pre-configured map decals of world renown trails, while more demanding customer can create their own graphics by using an online customization tool.

The pre-configured designs include accurate topographical renditions of popular locations such as Hell's Revenge, Fins and Things, Rausch Creek, Poison Spider, Rubicon Trail and Toledo, while Jeep owners that feel a bit more creative can blaze their own favorite trail. Owners can also select from two border colors on hood decals and mark a special point of interest on a much-beloved route, road or trail.

“Mopar’s new Jeep Custom Hood Decals allow owners to literally place their imprint on a vehicle and display the geography of their Jeep passion for the entire world to see,” declared Mopar CEO Pietro Gorlier. “Jeep Custom Hood Decals are just the latest in a portfolio of Jeep Performance Parts products that help Jeep vehicle owners to personalize their rides for the street and trail.”

Jeep owners that appreciate new ways to personalize their vehicles need to know that the decals are produced from durable 3M films and the least expensive custom hood decal is $295 plus installation.
