The near-production ready Jeep Gran Cherokee concepts revealed earlier in the year have now become a reality, as the all-American brand has dropped three blacked-out models, all dubbed Altitude Limited Edition. The name comes not from clever marketing, but from the Jeep “Name My Ride” consumer contest, which saw no less than 100,000 people naming the concepts.
This May, the limited-edition Grand Cherokee, Compass and Patriot Altitude models will all arrive in dealerships. They all feature various black exterior and interior elements like tinted windscreen, black alloy wheels, black leather and black grilles.
The Compass features seven-slot Jeep grille and headlamps, 18-inch black gloss aluminum wheels wrapped in Firestone BSW all-season performance tires. Prices start at $22,190 for the 4×2 models and $23,940 for the 4×4 models.
The Patriot comes with 17 inch black aluminum wheels and black roof rails as standard, while the Grand Cherokee also has a mesh behind the seven-piece grille and 20-inch wheels. Prices for this model start at $35,595.
