Remember Superformance and their Carroll Shelby licensed vehicles? They have Cobras and they have GT40s. They also have Corvette Grand Sports and, more recently, they’ve become an official Caterham distributor in the United States.
About fifteen years ago, Pete Brock, the guy who designed the 1964 Shelby Daytona Coupe, recreated the iconic sportscar with modern underpinnings. It also became available from Superformance. One of these Brock-endorsed vehicles, which is owned by Bruce Goldsmith, is the latest awesome piece of machinery to visit Jay Leno’s garage.
Although it’s not an original Daytona Coupe, the Brock Daytona Coupe is far from being a dull replica. More importantly, Goldsmith’s example has an interesting story attached to it as well. Find out more about it in the video below and make sure you watch it ’til the end, where there’s a lot of speedy V8 action.
