As the UK is preparing for the country’s second edition of the World Rallycross Championship, the Top Gear team has prepared something special for its viewers. Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond will be getting the cheerleaders spot this time.
Build up as a preview, the most popular television show’s boy band will take the lead at the famous venue in Kent. Captain Slow needs all the encouragement he can get from his palls considering he’s racing against WRX regulars all armed with flame-spitting, 4WD, 600 bhp RX supercars capable of hitting the 60 mph mark faster than a Formula One car.

The inaugural FIA World Rallycross champion Petter Solberg, Top Gear USA Star and motor sport legend Tanner Foust and Norwegian young driver Andreas Bakkerud will be the ones kicking May’s but on track.

The 7th episode of the series is also intended to be a promotional one for Britain’s only round of the action-packed World RX that will be staged at Lydden over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend, 23-24 May.
