The Special Edition is powered by the same supercharged AJ-V8 Gen III R engine, as the standard XKR Coupe, with the engine developing 503 hp and 625 Nm of torque and allowing the car to cover the 0 to 62 mph sprint in 4.8 seconds.
However, the XKR Special Edition features a recalibrated engine management system that allows it to offer a top speed of 280 km/h, compared to the standard XKR, which tops at 250 km/h.
