Rumors about the Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake have been lying around for quite a while, but now the vehicle has leaked onto the web. The image above reportedly shows the even faster XFR Sportbrake in production trim.
The Sportbrake will follow the XFR-S sedan’s story, which means this station wagon will be powered by a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 delivering 550 PS and a peak torque of 680 Nm (502 lb-ft). The unit will work with ZF’s eight-speed automatic transmission.
As for the performance numbers, the XFR-S Sportbrake is expected to deal with the 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) sprint in 4.6 seconds, while the top speed should sit at 180 mph (300 km/h).
Jaguar’s XFR-S Sportbrake is expected to come with a starting price just north of GBP80,000 (EUR97,000 or USD133,000 at the current exchange rates). No word on when the go-fast family ride comes out yet.
