Tata Motors recently announced that Jaguar Land Rover sales registered a 21.9 percent increase between March and December 2011, with the company also seeing its operating profit raise by 62.8 percent compared to that registered a year before.
The increase was led by serious growth in China and Russia, where Jaguar Land Rover has seen a dramatic increase in popularity. Between September and December 2011, JLR saw its sales leap 36.7 percent to 86,322 units, with the main boosting element being the fresh Evoque (you can read our test drive here).
As for Tata Motors, the company saw its sales increase 8.2 percent last year (640,334 units between April and December), with its revenues jumping 18.2 percent.
