Jaguar is preparing to introduce the F-Type at the Paris Motor Show this fall and the carmaker wants to make sure that its all-aluminum sports car, which will be slotted under the XK, will have captured the public’s attention before it makes its debut.
The British carmaker has just made a new step down this road, releasing a video that talks about the core technical values that will be offered by the F-Type.
Jaguar engineer Ian Hoban narrates the clip, taking us through the various tech assets of the car, from the stiff and low-weight body structures and optimal weight distribution, through the high power- and torque-to-weight ratios, to the responsiveness of the chassis, the feedback offered by the car and the supercharger that offers a quick response and a linear power boost. The video is actually a superficial one, but the real question is the following: will the F-Type be able to trully keep all these promises?
