When we say "excellent," don't take our word for it. We're not audiophiles, and even if we were, we haven't heard the iXOOST EsaVox do its thing live, so we wouldn't be in a position to judge.
But we don't really have to. Just look at the damned thing. You know how they say that something is "the Ferrari" of something else and that other thing is "the Porsche" of who knows what? Well, they are usually just exaggerated metaphors, but in this case, the iXOOST EsaVox really is the Lamborghini of speakers.
That doesn't mean it's prone to catching fire and will get you called a "douche" more often than you breathe air into your lungs - with the latter being true only because you would have to let people into your home to see it.
As the looks would suggest, the iXOOST EsaVox is a docking station, which means it makes good friends with your phone or other mp3 players you might use. It also means it's rather compact, but don't expect it to be small.
Those exhaust ports you see there, they are real. If your Lamborghini Aventador ever needs replacing the final part of its exhaust system, you can always sacrifice the iXOOST EsaVox, and it would fit since they are genuine Lambo parts. Even owning an Aventador, you wouldn't feel completely at ease doing that considering the audio set costs just over $21,000.
The red power button is also borrowed from Lambo, as is the general design of the EsaVox. Under the mesh, you won't find a V12 engine, but a set of 6.5-inch full range speakers and one of 8-inch woofers. Two 1-inch tweeters are housed inside the original exhaust unit, while the system also has a 15-inch subwoofer.
The docking station comes with two separate amplifiers - a 200 Watt one for the subwoofer and one delivering 600 Watt for the rest of the speakers - Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity as well as a classic RCA audio connector.
The only thing missing now is the right tune. If you're anything like us, you're probably not thinking about music right now either. No. Something similar to what you can hear in the second video below sounds much more appropriate.
