Halloween is hastily creeping upon us, and of course, every online or live service game decorates in the holiday's true spirit. Among the most popular games out there is, without a doubt, GTA 5, which is doing some massive aesthetic renovations. I dare to say that Halloween never looked better in a game than in GTA Online in 2023. Especially now that double rewards and an amazingly horrific livery are in play.
Starting with the coolest thing from the entire package, you need to get hold of the Albany Brigham (muscle car) that looks like West Coast Customs made a special version of the Ghostbusters car for Danny Trejo.
It's based on the 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor, and you can find it at the Southen San Andreas Super Autos. It's also displayed at the Vinewood Car Club, where, if you're a GTA+ subscriber, you can claim it for the low-low price of zilch.
Next, "the hunt it on," as Rockstar puts it, with the new paranormal quests, Ghosts Exposed. Paranormal investigators, not unlike Ghostbusters, require your supernatural services regarding ghostly apparitions in Southern San Andreas.
Sadly, there won't be any actual ghostbusting because all you'll have to do is bring back photographic evidence of ghosts for GTA$ and RP. But! At the end of the quest chain lies the Albany Brigham livery, which looks stupendous.
After, you should check out the thematic trio Deathmatches. They'll pay out twice the rewards during the first week for regular players, but for GTA+ Members, the GTA$ and RP go up four times their standard rate.
Animals are being possessed, and guess what? You need to go check out what's happening and save the poor citizens from tremendous danger. The coolest part is that these animals will morph when threatened, so keep your distance. Or not... it is Halloween, so aren't strange phenomena part of the fun? Asking for a friend.
Freemode is also getting spookier, with bone-chilling events occurring everywhere. The best part is that they won't stop at the end of the week. You'll encounter strangers rambling about UFOs in the sky, and you'll even get to steal spaceship parts from the FIB's Fort Zancudo for Business Battles. Take extra caution; ghost cars patrol the area, especially a wildly aggressive Cerberus ramming people off the road.
You can't have Halloween without masks, so make sure you dress as scary as can be by collecting the Green Vintage Witch Mask, which you get simply upon logging in this week.
To nab the Orange Vintage Werewolf Mask, you need to complete a Bunker Sell Mission, and finally, to get the Light Green Vintage Vampire Mask, complete a Bunker Steal Supplies Mission. Until October 18, when you offload the required items during the Bunker Sell Missions, you will also get twice the GTA$ and RP.
The fun doesn't stop there, with new scary props like pumpkins and Jack-o'-lanterns. Cars at the Premium Deluxe Motorsport Showroom have special liveries and discounts, so pay a visit there as well.
