Indian Motorcycles and their new customers have to deal with several more weeks of wait, as the shipment of the 204 Chief and Chieftain bikes is delayed, Bikernet reports.
It looks like some of the final tests prior to actually starting shipping the bikes have triggered some last-minute chances to the assembly process.
According to the same source, a remedy has already been found and the change has already been implemented, but it still needs validation for a complete homologation of the bike. Unfortunately nobody seems to know what all this is about.
This mysterious change is reportedly being tested at the moment of writing, and the actualy delivery schedule was pushed towards the end of September, instead of this very week, as was originally expected.
Well, at least it's a fortnight and not 3 months or more and is the case of Indian customers waiting for the KTM 390 Duke.
