According to Faisal Khan, one of our Indian riding friends, the fellows who have placed pre-orders for the much-anticipated KTM 390 Duke are still waiting for their bikes.
And we're not talking about chaps who decided to get a 390 Duke last week, but about people who booked their two-wheelers in the spring. April and May, that is.

The bike was officially launched in late June, and a 90-day waiting period was first rumored, then kind of confirmed. Since we're getting closer to mid-September, we might say things are going as scheduled, but the Indian customers are becoming more and more frustrated with news of the 390 Duke production being apparently exported.

A cool move KTM could make is fulfill the early orders, making those guys happy and thus willing to spread the good word. Happy people speak nice things about their new toys... The other way around is not exactly smart business.
