You may remember Big Daddy Customs of India, for their attempt to turn a regular SUV only sold on the local market, into a 'poor man's Range-Rover Evoque'. Well, now they`re back with something even more impressive and which looks to be of much higher quality.
Called the XENON, it is a concept vehicle based on the Tata Sumo Grande, an SUV sold exclusively in India. They have succeeded in making the staid and bland Sumo Grande a much more modern proposition, with 2012-style bumpers, featuring integrated LED daytime running lights, dark wheels, fresh looking headlights and an equally-modern-looking blue paint finish.

Big Daddy Themselves seem very proud of the XENON concept - their official statement said: "This project was awarded to us by TATA Motors to gauge public response for a more modern looking SUV based on the GRANDE [ . . . ] Strict guidelines were given to only tamper with the soft body (i.e. bumper sections, grille, cladding etc.) without making any changes in the metal body sections as it would involve major development cost if any of our design cues were incorporated in the commercial production stage later."
