One of the most popular events in Switzerland is the Bergrennen Gurnigel, a hill clim that gathers tons of spectators who want to see overpowered racing trucks go up a hill. And you though America was strange…
Our monster vehicle of the day is his racetruck, producing a massive 1400 hp and 5800 Nm of torque. Due to restrictions imposed by the Gurnigel organizers, it's limited to 1200 hp, but even so, that's a lot.

The total weight of the vehicle is just 4.5 tons, which isn't a lot when you consider SUVs routinely top 2 tons. Conditions are really tricky, but the driver keeps total control of this tricky setup. Just watch and be impressed.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
