Subaru is offering its Australian customers the possibility to choose between a wider range of models, as the company has decided to bring the Impreza XV to the country.Riding 30 mm higher that the other normally aspirated Imprezas, the XV is aimed at a young audience.
The vehicle comes with a new grille, front and rear bumpers, roof rails, rear spoiler and protective wheel arch extensions.
The soft-roader also comes with fog lamps, 16 inch alloy rims and exhaust pipe cover. The vehicle can be dressed in Obsidian Black, Satin White, Spark Silver, Dark Grey or Camellia Red.
The car’s interior has received climate air conditioning and a leather trim for the steering wheel, handbrake and gear stick, with an optional factory sunroof available.
The vehicle is powered by a 2.0 liter four cylinder Boxer engine (shared with the Impreza R, RX and RS ) that develops 150 hp and a maximum torque of 144.5 lb-ft (196 Nm).
“By using Impreza hatch as the donor car, Subaru has created a vehicle that enables people to mix five day a week commuting with an active weekend adventure lifestyle. For five days a week you have a Subaru hatchback with all its inherent strengths – All-Wheel Drive, Boxer engine, five-star safety, outstanding road holding, ride and handling qualities, with a long and detailed list of standard equipment. Then on non-week days you have a vehicle to explore and exploit your lifestyle and recreation pursuits,” said Nick Senior, Managing Director, Subaru Australia.
