"Everyone makes mistakes from time to time" is a thing we've been hearing quite a lot, and the statement is true. However, there is a huge difference between a mistake and being an ignorant idiot: and when it comes to being an ignorant idiot in traffic, the only outcome is a bad one.
There are quite a lo of drivers who don't seem to know how poor braking on wet asphalt their very own cars have, let alone being able to figure this out when a 2-wheeler is involved. These poor drivers believe that any vehicle can just stop in a couple of feet if need be, regardless of the weather conditions, and that's why they just don't realize the danger they're in and how they are threat for others' safety.
It's the case of this driver, simply ignoring the incoming scooter (which by the way, had the right to pass first) and steers left, cutting the guy off. The result is as anyone in their right mind would expect: the scooter rider brakes hard trying to avoid hitting the car, skids and crashes into the rear right wheel of the car. And all this could have been avoided so easily...
