While Hyundai’s Equus may be a more-than-adequate luxury car, which attempts to rival class leaders, it still doesn’t have the necessary ‘swag’ to make a serious mark. Well, with the help of South Korean rap sensation PSY, famous for his ‘Gangnam Syle’ video which has been viewed by 212-million people since it was uploaded - a real achievement!
Hyundai have recently posted a picture on their Facebook page, showing PSY leaning against a black Equus, registered on California plates. The picture also features a ‘Swag-o-meter’ which is maxed out at the ‘Gangnam Syle’ level (maximum).
The photo description reads: "We caught K-Pop sensation PSY blowing up the Swag-o-Meter in his mega-luxe Equus. How do you roll Gangnam Style?" Only time will tell if this marketing scheme will catch on and if the Equus will turn out to be as successful as Hyundai were hoping when they first launcehd it.
