Since the Geneva Auto Show is almost here we’re expecting to see automobile makers bring us something new. This is the case of Hyundai and their Intrado concept, the company’s vehicle that was developed under the supervision of Peter Schreyer.
As such, the vehicle will be incorporating a new styling direction inspired from aircrafts and most importantly Hyundai’s next-generation fuel cel powertrian.

From a design point of view, the Intrado will be aerodynamically efficient, sporting a very fluid design that is, according to Peter Schreyer President and Chief Design Officer of Hyundai Motor Group, “effortless and sensual.”

It appears that their plan was to create a vehicle that is lighter yet stronger, better to drive and at the same time simpler to repair. As such, the company went for a super-lightweight structure, removing all unnecessary weight.

Besides this, Hyundai’s next-generation hydrogen fuel-cell powertrain that utilizes a Li-ion 36 kWh battery, only takes a few minutes to refuel and promises a range of up to 600 kilometers.

Therefore, this new concept car delivers improved performance as well as increased range plus more responsive and agile driving dynamics, thanks to the reduced weight and greater efficiency of its powertrain
