Husqvarna admits they will be using the KTM engine for their Moto3 entry in 2014.
In order to use their own engine, Husky had a deadline which expired on September 1st, so they are rather forced to use the KTM power plant if hey want to race in the Moto3 series.

With the announcement of the Moto3 entry in November, using KTM engines was the only way they could avoid losing one season.

In fact, this KTM-powered year could prove a very good preparation for debuting the all-Husky engine, and one full racing year should being in much useful information on how the Moto3 machinery works.

Will it be a fratricide going on from 2014? Only time will tell, even though I kind of doubt the Husky frame and KTM engine combination will outperform the orange factory.
