We're almost halfway through the year and generally speaking motorcycle makers are pretty much done with upgrading their portfolio for the 2025 model year. There are exceptions, companies that are a tad slower in rolling out new models, and Swedish-Austrian Husqvarna is one of them.
Having released something new pretty much every month of 2024, Husqvarna announced this week a refresh for the 2025 model year targetting its motocross lineup, in both the two-stroke and four-stroke classes.

While still offering the Rockstar edition for the FC 250 and FC 450 in their 2024 model year guise, the company announced the launch of new versions for the four two-stroke machines it makes (TC 125, TC 150, TC 250, and TC 300) and the three four-stroke ones (FC 250, FC 350, and FC 450). That's a total of seven revised bikes meant to take riders on new off-road adventures.

Husqvarna says it made "multiple technical upgrades" to these two-wheelers, and the changes target pretty much everything, except for the engines themselves.

All seven bikes now use a revised frame that comes with reduced material in the area of the upper shock mount and at the front. Although it doesn't go into the specifics, Husqvarna claims the changes are meant to enhance flex, reduce weight, and improve cornering.

New engine mounts have been designed for the four-stroke machines, but all seven get new suspension settings. Like before, this system comprises WP XACT hardware in the form of 48 mm forks at the front and a rear shock that can be adjusted with no need for tools.

Husqvarna also redesigned the fuel tank shrouds to allow for easier access to the shock's adjusters and increased the height of the seat at its lowest point to five mm higher than before.

The swingarm of the rides has been revised as well, while the tires are now wrapped in Dunlop MX34 tires. Brembo braking hardware is on deck to handle stopping power.

The biggest change in the motocross range the company is offering is the addition of two new models in the two-stroke class, both of them more than capable of taking on four strokes.

The first is the TC 150, an evolution of the TC 125 meant to bridge the gap between that bike and the TC 300. The ride is so potent, says Husqvarna, that it should have no trouble taking on 200cc four-stroke bikes.

Targeting the 450cc four-stroke rivals is the TC 300, the second model added to the range, this one based on the TC 250.

Husqvarna already lists the seven revised bikes as being available for purchase, but does not provide any details on pricing. For that, it says, riders should get in touch with their local dealer.
