Dakar Husqvarna Rally Team by Speedbrain has announced the lineup for the upcoming competition, scheduled to kick off in South America on January 5th. The Lake Varese team will have no less than four riders in South America: Spaniard Joan Barreda, Portuguese Paulo Gonçalves, Italian Alessandro Botturi, and Australian Matt Fish.
With Husqvarna finishing second in the manufacturers ranking of the 2012 FIM Cross-Country Rally World Chamipionship, just behind KTM, but in front of Yamaha and Honda, the premises for a fierce battle are already in place.

The Husqvarna TE449RR by Speedbrain will be using the familiar TE449RR machine which has already received numerous improvements for the oncoming Dakar 2013 rally, one of them being the high-end race-specced Akrapovic exhaust.

The Dakar 2013 rally, the 35th such competition, has African origins, but has of late moved to another part of the planet, at least as wild and hard to tackle: South America. Between January the 5th and the 20th riders will pass through Peru, Argentina and Chile, with Santiago being the endpoint.
