Hurricane Matthew hit the U.S. last week, and those on the Florida coastline were most affected by the natural phenomenon.
In Matthew’s path stood an automotive enthusiast named Randy, who decided he needed to protect his car as well as he possibly could. Instead of taking it to a specialized garage, or storing it in another secluded place, Randy took matters into his hands and drove the car into his living room.
Instead of the garage or another safe parking spot, the Instagram user that calls himself “jalilsup” has placed his prized BMW E30 M3 in his house. This way, the car would be just as safe as he was, without any other concerns.
Luckily for Randy, his house in Florida has double doors that go all the way to the driveway, which allowed him to enter the house while driving his E30 M3.
As you can observe, he published a few photos of his adventure on Instagram, and the post became viral shortly after that. From there, Randy kept posting more pictures of the superb E30 M3 that he owns, each in a different setting. From a single photo illustrating a brunch, things went further.
The Instagram user posted images of a sleepover, and a movie night was also depicted. As Randy noted on his Instagram account, nothing happened to his vehicle, which has since been removed from his house. He declared his gratitude to all those that supported him during this hurricane, but also to his followers on social media.
Randy was a fortunate case, as many other cars were affected by the storm that struck the United States of America last week. According to Motor Trend, the Daytona International Speedway was hit by this natural phenomenon. Damage inflicted to the Daytona Speedway include speakers, signage, fences, gates, awning, palm trees, and lights.
Another race track in the area had to be closed because of this earthquake, as the New Smyrna Speedway suffered the collapse of the entire grandstand. It happened because of strong winds in the area.
