Ah, the sweetness of the wicked renderings the internet likes to deliver nowadays. Many of these image manipulations are here to tickle our hooning bone, but today we're here for a different purpose.
It all starts with the Huracan Shooting Brake rendering above. Delivered by digital artist Rain Prisk, this shows what would happen if the Raging Bull's V10 offering would grow a pair of rear seats, along with all the body modifications required by such a change.

Nevertheless, we're asking you to ignore the kayak for now, as that part of the pixel rearrangement is the kind of accessory only octane eccentrics such as Jon Olsson would truly understand.

Instead, we want to focus on the practical nature of such a car. Sure, given the mid-engined configuration of the Huracan, turning the supercar into a GT isn't exactly an option.

Nevertheless, the usability aura granted by the Grand Tourer body type is something that would serve Sant'Agata Bolognese well. For one thing, Lamborghini is currently in the midst of a process that sees the company working to deliver more drivable cars.

For instance, the Huracan is the first Lambo that, with a bit of effort on the driver's side, can be used as a daily driver. Then there's the Urus SUV, which is due next year.

One important change that will facilitate the birth of a new-age Lamborghini GT is the company's inevitable adoption of forced induction engines. Such a car would need the kind of torque the Huracan's V10 can't deliver and the Aventador's 6.5-liter V12 would complicate things - as modulable as the vee twelve is, a twin-turbo V8, for instance, would be considerably more suitable for daily use. Speaking of which, here's to hoping the Italians also keep naturally-aspirated units in their line-up once the wastegates are open.

We feel that a competitor for the Ferrari GTC4Lusso would be more than welcome. And while it might take a while until Lamborghini capitalize on its GT history, this pixel dream should keep us busy meanwhile.
