Here’s another easy maintenance job you can perform on a Toyota Sequoia - changing the lightbulb or headlight assembly.
For replacing just the bulb, you don’t need any tools. For replacing the whole headlight you will need a Philips screwdriver and a 10 mm socket ratchet with extender. Here are the steps:

- Open the hood
- Unplug the wires at the back of the headlight
- Remove the rubber sleeve
- There is a retainer that you need to push in and lift it at the same time to unlock it
- Replace the bulb
- Put everything back.
Replacing the whole headlamp:
- Open the hood
- Unplug the wires from the back of the headlight
- Remove the screw at the top of the headlight
- Pop the turn signal assembly out
- Remove the four 10 mm bolts holding the main headlamp assembly
- Replace what’s broken and place the parts back.
