Here’s another easy maintenance job you can perform on a Toyota Sequoia - changing the lightbulb or headlight assembly.
For replacing just the bulb, you don’t need any tools. For replacing the whole headlight you will need a Philips screwdriver and a 10 mm socket ratchet with extender. Here are the steps:

Replacing the lightbulb:
  • Open the hood
  • Unplug the wires at the back of the headlight
  • Remove the rubber sleeve
  • There is a retainer that you need to push in and lift it at the same time to unlock it
  • Replace the bulb
  • Put everything back.

Replacing the whole headlamp:
  • Open the hood
  • Unplug the wires from the back of the headlight
  • Remove the screw at the top of the headlight
  • Pop the turn signal assembly out
  • Remove the four 10 mm bolts holding the main headlamp assembly
  • Replace what’s broken and place the parts back.
