To do the job, you’ll need a flathead screwdriver, a Phillips screwdriver and about 10 minutes of spare time. Here are the steps:

- Turn off the ignition
- Use the thin flathead screwdriver and pry open the plastic trim around the stereo unit
- Remove it and locate the four screws keeping the stereo in place
- Take them out and slide the whole unit out
- Unplug the electric wires at the back
- Adapt the metal rack from the old stereo to the new one if the aftermarket product comes without one.
