Lately, in the search of ultimate exterior changing features, most people discovered the vinyl wrapping industry. It is a viable alternative to a total repaint, but there also Plasti Dip. This miraculous product is actually sprayed on your car and turns into a layer of protective coating that's easily removed.
We're sure most of you already heard about this new product but weren't actually convinced about its "miraculous" properties. Well, there are hundreds of videos on Youtube showing you the various uses of this product and how to apply it.

What we're looking at today is a DIY on how to remove the Plasti Dip coating, in case you decided to go for it. As you probably already know, the advantage of using such a product is that when you get bored, you can just remove it. Furthermore, you can even transform your car into a giant puzzle by stripping only certain areas.

The video below shows you how it's removed from a BMW E46 and even how the car is transformed by the easy change of color. Here's how you do it: first of all you'll start at an edge. The most important thing to remember when removing Plasti Dip from your car is to watch out for scratches. Even though your paint job is protected under the thin layer of rubbery plastic this product offers, when removing it, it's very easy to scratch your car if you're using anything but your thumbs.

You don't need any special tools, just grab an edge and start pulling. At the beginning be careful, try to peel it off in big chunks, that's the easiest way. Otherwise you'll end up spending hours next to your car, instead of minutes.

The video below is pretty self-explanatory and was done by the guys from EuroCustomsPR, to which we tip our hat!
