How to End an Argument With a Cyclist, the AMG Way – Video

Mercedes CLK Black Series ends argument with cyclist with a BURNOUT 1 photo

I have a confession to make. Cars are nice and all, but bicycles shouldn't be taken lightly. They're a cheap means of transport that, in some circumstances, is faster from point A to point B if you live in a congested city. But there's one thing I can't stand about bicycles – some people that ride bicycles on a daily basis somehow develop an exaggerated hatred aimed toward drivers and their cars. Why so?
Think about it. Nowadays it's fairly cheap to lease a family car and gasoline is cheaper than ever. Mix these two elements together with the rising popularity of taking up cycles instead of chewing prehistoric dinosaur juice and you can see where this hatred comes from. As much as I respect the eco-friendly credentials of pedalling to work instead of sitting in a traffic jam, one too many bicyclists are so proud of their wheels that they mock us drivers because that's a trend of something. I still don't know why...

Of course, I'm not square. There are one too many stupid drivers on the roads as well, changing lanes without signaling and getting other traffic participants in trouble, cyclists included. On this occasion, I've stumbled upon a video where both the driver and the bicyclist are being stupid A-holes, so please don't hate on the driver more than on the bicyclist or the other way around. They both deserve to be criticized.

Cue a street in London, late at night, and a Mercedes-Benz CLK 63 AMG Black Series roaring its 6.2-liter V8 blunderbuss, slipping and sliding its tail as it accelerates. Yes, it wears Arab number plates, which means only one thing: show-off son of an Arab oil sheik is having a blast, waking sleepy people up at night.

The driver's manners are inexcusable, especially if you consider that London at night is a busy place where accidents CAN and DO happen. Then comes a cyclist, which starts and argues with the Arab Merc driver for the ruckus he made by tickling the throttle of a 507 HP AMG brute late at night. But when the bicyclist starts to point the finger at the driver, and then shout at some poor girl on the pavement calling her witness to this petty circus, that's when everything goes bad and the driver snaps from his comfort zone.

As expected, the Arab driver didn't give a flying you-know-what about the bicyclist's aggressive face-off, so he ended the argument in pure AMG style. A burnout with over 100 decibels of V8 bellow is how it all ended. Our guess is that some bits of rubber were propelled in the cyclist's face because 630 Nm (465 lb-ft) of torque do that to the rear wheels of a burnout-happy Mercedes-Benz CLK 63 AMG Black Series.

And on that bombshell, the man that filmed this video claims that he measured the 11s the Mercedes made on the road. Standing at 47 meters (154 feet) long, that's one hell of a way to end an argument with a rowdy bicyclist. Nevertheless, we regard them both as being stupid and infantile in their LOL-worthy quarrel.
