How Rolls-Royce’s Spirit of Ecstasy Looks in Gold

The Spirit of Ecstasy has been adorning Rolls Royce vehicles since 1911. Back then the company decided to introduce this in order to prevent customers coming up with their own pieces, which may or may not have been worthy of being associated with the Rolls-Royce name.
The modern version of this flying lady sees owners being allowed to choose between metal, a transparent material and gold. The clip below shows us how the Spirit of Ecstasy’s gold version looks out in the wild.

Well, “out in the wild” is probably a bit too much said, since the mascot sits on a Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe that is being driven through Hollywood.
