We cannot tell how we gasped as we saw this awesome custom build by Jon Shipley of Hoosier Daddy Choppers in Bloomfield, Indiana, a Jack Daniel's-themed bike with looks to kill.
With an 1977 Harley-Davidson Ironhead Sportster as a greound zero, Jon Shipley has managed to bring to life a bike which seems the dream-spawn of an overly-creative steampunk designer.
Despite the highly-decorative and colorful build, the Jack Daniel's bike remains clean and we're so happy to miss any sort of clutter. Open chain transmission and a most striking choice for an oil reservoir in the shape of a faded, vintage-look copper distiller, all in mellow distressed colors, just make the heart beat faster.
We totally dig the copper accents ever-present on the Hoosier Daddy Choopers' bike, and the JD badges. But the most stir-causing element in this custom bike is the seat: a very bar stool, with a leather cushion, by far not the most comfortable bike seat around, but in complete harmony with the rest of the build and adding to the uniqueness of the Jack Daniel's motorcycle.
Chapeau bas, Mr. Shipley!
