Hoonigan's presence in video games is becoming more prevalent with each passing year. The cars, but more importantly, the spirit that embodies Gymkhana in all its drifting glory, will make their presence keenly felt for the next three months in The Crew Motorfest Season 2.
Last autumn, Cyberpunk 2077 received Update 2.0 for free, and it overhauled the gameplay almost entirely. Among the technical elements and whatnot, CD Projekt RED also revamped the game's driving and car systems.

It made it possible for players to strap machine guns to their cars and go through town wreaking havoc to their heart's content. Well, until the cops came, at least.

One exceptional car introduced with Update 2.0 was the Hoonicorn-inspired Type-66 Hoon with front-mounted high-caliber guns. Oh, and the Dr. Evil-like "frikin' lasers attached to their fricking heads" weren't bad either.

The real-life counterpart is the 1965 Hoonicorn Ford Mustang, an RWD beast that delivers 1,400 hp and 1,250 lb-ft (1,694 Nm) of torque. Now, the Ford Hoonicorn Mustang, born and bred for drifting, is coming in all its glory to Motorfest as well. Sadly, without machine guns.

Also on its way is the Brian Scotto's Porsche 965 Turbo RWB, along with the world-famous Ken Block S1 Hoonitron. The S1 is fully electric and the only one of its kind. It's basically a prototype with dual electric motors that, combined, can produce 670 hp (680 ps) and 472 lb-ft (640 Nm) of torque. Oh, and it costs over $12,000,000.

Other major stars joining the tarmac firmament are the 1951 Chevy 3100 Big Block Edition that's been tuned to the high Heavens, the Chevy Big Block 632 Camaro, and Audi Scotto's Coupe Quattro. There are also some less impressive models like the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX, Audi RS 2 Avant, RS 3 Sportback, and RS 7 Sportback.

There's also a Summit Live event going on called "Roll Out" until December 19. If you decide to take part, go for the Platinum trophy because you'll be getting the 2017 Chevy Camaro ZL1 Rift Edition as a reward. Gold will nab you a Roll Out Tire item, Silver hands out Visual Parts Set Chevrolet Camaro SS Dragster, and finally, Bronze will nab you 200k followers to rank up your in-game popularity.

If you haven't tried The Crew Motorfest yet, you should have a look. It's one of the best and most relaxing open-world arcade racers out there.

On Ubisoft's store, it's 50% off now, at $35, but if you don't want to buy it, you can also find it on Ubisoft+, their $15 monthly subscription for PC and Xbox. And if you really, really don't want to pay a dime, there's a free 5-hour trial on PC, but only if you never participated in previous trials.
