Honda Unveils 2011 Motorcycles & MUV

The North American division of Honda recently revealed a few of its new street bikes and off-road models, as well as the Big Red MUV (Multi-Purpose Utility Vehicle), for the 2011 model year. Two wheeled models include the Fury, Interstate, Shadow RS and Shadow Phantom with the Sabre and Stateline customs to be released at a later date.

"The 2011 model year lineup continues to expand for Honda," stated Powersports Press Manager Bill Savino. "Here we have a variety of very popular cruisers and customs, a pair of Honda off-road machines that have remained extremely popular with riders over the years, plus a revamped and very impressive Big Red MUV. Our selection of models for 2011 keeps growing and there will be more to follow."

Taken separately, the Fury will be available in Dark Red Metallic, Pearl White and Matte Orange Metallic beginning in December 2010. Optional ABS and CBS – color and availability date to be determined.

Now available as an optional ABS model with Honda’s Combined Braking System, the 2011 Interstate will be available in Dark Red Metallic and Black beginning in December 2010. Optional ABS and CBS - color and availability date to be determined as well.

The Honda Shadow RS comes with enhanced riding ergonomics, as well as a Programmed Fuel Injection, and will be available in a new Blue/White/Red paint scheme beginning in December 2010. On the other hand, the Shadow Phantom will only be available in Black starting from the same date as the RS version.

Both the CRF80F and the CRF100F will be available in Red beginning in November 2010. Finally, the Big Red MUV comes with increased load carrying and towing capacity, revised suspension, contoured bench seat that allows easier entry/exit, Maxxis Big Horn tires and a Roll Over Protection Structure (ROPS) that meets OSHA requirements. Available in Red, Olive and Natural Gear Camouflage beginning in November 2010.
