Become famous on Youtube and Vine, go to college, get a Honda Civic Si from your parents – that's the new American dream for the young generation. And it's not surprising, when you consider that from all the car companies we know, Honda seems to be the only one that's connected with the younger generation and they way it thinks.
Fiat has bought just about every major Latino singer in the industry, while Chevrolet has even built the Gen Y people a couple of small cars to no avail. Yet Honda has done much better, connecting to their target audience via social media.

Their latest effort really needs to be applauded. Somehow, they've managed to introduce a car customizer into their Twitter account. How cool is that!

Without any lag whatsoever, the tweet lets you chose the trim level, add all-wheel drive and pick one of eight colors. It's not rocket science, but it does mean that you can share your future compact SUV with friends and coworkers using only your smartphone.

So what's new about the 2015 Honda CR-V? This is a mid-life update for one of the most popular models in this segment. Let's start with the cosmetics, which include a new grille design that you've already seen on the Civic. The lower fascia has also been revised with chrome fog light surrounds. The most stand-out feature are the headlights, which can be ordered with either basic reflectors or projectors, both combined with LED daytime running lights.

For 2015, the CR-V is powered by a 2.4-liter Earth Dreams motor that makes 185 horsepower. It's also mated to a brand new CVT gearbox instead of the 5-speed you got on 2013 and 2014 models. With all-wheel drive, Honda says you can expect 33 mpg highway, which is a very impressive number. Maybe they should tweet about that too...

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
