Holy Turbos: Monster Pickup Breaks Driveshaft

OK, it’s custom project time. You take a regular old Chevy Silverado truck, slap on some shocks, rubber and... say a massive turbo and you get a drag racing monster. But what about the rest of it, can the other parts cope with the insane twisting power that seems to flex the chassis?
No, it can’t, and the results are catastrophically for the driveshaft of this pickup, which takes quite the beating and gives up on life.

What’s interesting is that the truck had been fitted with the driveshaft loop, something that was meant to keep it in place and reduce the risk of a serious accident. But the welds of the loop have given way and the driveshaft obviously slammed into the track.
