If you're a fan of flip-up helmets (like some of us here are), then you'll appreciate HJC's efforts invested in the all-new SY-MAX III lid.
The HJC SY-MAX III comes with a high-tech Advanced Fiberglass Shell with an adjustable polycarbonate chin bar for a lightweight build and wearing comfort. On the comfort side, the new HJC flip-up unit sports the SilverCool liner, a moisture-wicking odor-free fabric with silver particles for anti-bacterial action. The crown and cheek pads are removable and washable, too.
The visor of the HJC SY-MAX III is Pinlock-ready and we totally like the idea, as this anti-fogging solution is by far the best one around. The integrated tinted sun shield has three positions, and sports an adjustable lever.
The chin bar release system is easy to open even when wearing gloves and this is a plus, too. The SY-MAX III is ready for optional Bluetooth communication systems such as the HJC ChatterBox. The HJC SY-MAX III is available in sizes XS-XXL, is DOT-approved and comes in black, matte black, silver or hi-viz yellow. Solid color helmets retail for a MSRP of $299.99 (€232), while the hi-viz is $309.99 (€240).
