All what motocross passionate Andrew “Drew” Lucas wanted as a daily driver was a full-size Dodge Ram pickup truck. But his father, Paul Lucas, stepped into the story and made him reconsider his choice.
After all, the Ram was too big for what he needed - hauling his motocross bike and its equipment around for different stages and, in his free time, moving some mail on the back roads of California and Nevada.
Paul eventually convinced his son to buy a smaller, cheaper, second-hand Toyota Tacoma, which seemed to suit him better. And that’s what he did. The 3.4-liter V6 engine powering the Tacoma also had a TRD supercharger, so all it needed was a higher suspension for a little more fun off the roads.
Now, after a set of custom Total Chaos suspension system with 13 inches of lift has been added, the “Braap Mobile” is a real dune eater.
