Hod Rods at 2013 SEMA

Now that we’ve seen all sorts of beefed-up musclecars, vans, truck and a couple of production-ready Dodge Challengers, time has come to have a look at some of the hot rods featured at the 2013 SEMA Show.

As most hot rod enthusiasts might except, most of them are either three-window or five-window 1930s Ford coupes. Some of them follow the classic recipe, some come in flashy colors and fancy interiors, while others feature bare steel and aluminum bodies. But what’s more important, all of them come with V8 power and hundreds of horses under the hood (at least those that have one).

The most familiar of them all is the flamed 1932 “Red Deuce” 5-window coupe, but the orange 1934 3-window model reminds us of ZZ Top’s “Eliminator” hot rod. The latter is our favorite actually, but we wouldn’t mind having the opportunity to park any of them in our driveway.
