Nurburgring adventures are all fun and games until somebody crashes and we're here to talk about why your SO might not be all that fond of you intention to hit the Green Hell.
In theory, a man should provide protection for the woman sitting alongside him - check out the female passenger of the Volkswagen Golf in the video at the bottom of the page.

Despite wearing her standard, three-point seatbelt, the poor girl is being thrown around like a test dummy and it's not difficult to notice the flow of negative emotions that overcomes her as the Vee-Dub slides into the protection element on the side of the Ring.

Sure, accidents happen, but, unfortunately, the otherwise small crash we have here is part of the many Nordschleife incidents that take place because drivers come to the Nurburgring totally unprepared.

It's one thing to have your girlfriend or wife go through a traumatizing experience that happens due to the inevitable human error or machine failure and it's another thing to fail at covering the basic safety aspects of lapping the Ring together with her.

What we see here is a line of rookie mistakes, starting with the maneuvers leading to the lift-off oversteer that caused the Mk II Golf to slide out of control. Had the driver done his homework, he would've known that failing to enter Adenauer Forst correctly is best "corrected" by simply letting your car use the vibrator on the right side to jump onto the grass.

Then there was the poor string of driving moves that followed, which demonstrate a total lack of cat control. Sure, we all have to learn somewhere, but when this is your level, you don't enter a corner, especially a Nurburgring bend, in maximum attack mode.

Oh well, at least nobody seems to have gotten hurt in this silly Ring accident, so here's to hoping this driver has learned his lesson.
