Why would you ever drop $300,000 on one single item, especially a car? You can't live in it, you can't take it to bed and it definitely won't fit on an airplane. Except the Bentley Mulsanne is so cool, you actually do want to do all those things "together" especially once you experience the tens of feet of decadent leather.
In the exotic car world, the Bentley Mulsanne is like a breath of fresh air, a large anvil ready to iron out imperfection in the road. You buy a Ferrari because you think you're cool, but you buy a Mulsanne because you really are cool, in a "Vodka Martini, shaken, not stirred" sort of way.
If you really were an Ian Fleming character, would you ever let something as simple as walking your dog ruin your day? Of course not, all you'd have to do is say "Bentley, walk the dog" and she would, with the grace of a loyal housekeeper, while you a Bond girl serves you eggs over-easy in bed. Looking at this little blue French Bulldog on a pink leash, attached to the Flying B, you just can't help but say "yeah, that's class!"
