Until Toyota will release additional information about the vehicle’s performances or what engine sits under that long sleek hood, let’s have another look at the stunning FT-1 concept, just as it sits in the automaker’s booth.
The whole vehicle’s design has been constructed to give the idea that the shapes have been modeled by wind, through erosion, while providing functional properties and increased aerodynamic performance.
The minimalist interior features a jet-fighter-inspired gauge cluster and head-up display, with most of the buttons placed on the flat-bottomed steering wheel, to enable the driver’s hands to remain on it while browsing through different menus.
As regarding the technical aspecs of the new concept, all the automaker said about it was that under that glass panel on the hood is sitting a high performance internal combustion engine.
