If you were under the impression Snoop Dogg has fallen out of grace over the past few years, think again. The man is an all-out offensive to bring himself back into the spotlight, most recently with the help of a comedy sports movie.
The flick is called The Underdoggs and it just premiered earlier this week on Prime Video. It has Snoop playing the role of Jaycen "Two Js" Jennings, a "washed-up ex-professional football star who has hit rock bottom."

And by rock bottom, they really mean rock bottom, as the guy is forced to turn into a football coach for a pee-wee football team with close to no talent in the game.

Unlike many of the other things Snoop has done over the years, The Underdoggs is not about vehicles. A true fan of cars, the rapper has an impressive collection of custom rides, many of them as old as he is (if not older but still breathtaking) but rarely chooses to advertise them.

The guy's passion for cars is not necessarily doubled by a similar one for bikes. To our knowledge, Snoop is not the owner of as just as many high-profile two-wheeled rides. Probably because, let's face it, rappers never looked good on two-wheels.

Can you ever imagine Snoop pulling up on the back of a custom Harley-Davidson, for instance? Neither can I. But I can surely imagine a bike made to honor the man.

Here it is, a former Harley-Davidson Sportster remade in the image of the American rapper and named after him by Swiss custom garage Bundnerbike. A perfect boost, one would say, for the fresh The Underdoggs.

The bike is in itself a mystery, and by that I mean the shop did not reveal any of the modifications made to the American two-wheeler. Sure, our eyes can see how different the thing is from stock, but we can't say with accuracy what part came from where.

We see the wheels are no longer stock and now wear very fat rubber, the very high handlebars fitted up front, the modified bodywork, and the aftermarket exhaust system slapped over the stock engine, but everything else about the bike remains a mystery.

The connection with Snoop Dogg is not that obvious either, as there's not a single thing on the bike to remind one of the rapper. But, just like the American star, the bike too causes a stir, and the bike has been named after him because this "Bundnerbike pearl also causes a stir, both through its appearance and through its unique driving behavior and it is probably one of the best that history, in this case that of the Sportster customization world, has ever produced."

It's up to any one of us to decide if that's so or not. To me, the association is almost spot on, but it kind of feels like it lacks a deeper connection.
