Harley-Davidson shelves a new helmet for the riding ladies, with a women’s specific design for increased comfort.
The new helmet is called the Women's Diva II Helmet, but I have to be honest and say that there is not too much elegance in the design. With a retro styling which is somehow in line with the last H-D helmet we presented, the Visionary, which was not exactly a futuristic lid, either, proving that the MoCo is fine with delivering retro-styled riding gear. And since business seems to go fine for Harley, this is probably a Harley rider thing, too.

H-D opted for a polycarbonate shell for the Diva II Helmet and made sure the lid is on the light side. Tipping the scales at only 2 lbs (900 grams), this helmet will surely not fatigue the ladies’ necks even after prolonged riding periods. As far as the pictures show, the interior liner is not removable, so the helmet might need more often cleaning after riding in hot weather.

A double d-ring chin strap is used to keep the helmet secure on the rider’s head, while the flip-up face shield is a very handy addition, and the fact that is can be easily replaced when scratched or if a tinted one is preferred makes things even better.

The lid is DOT-compliant and is delivered with a helmet bag. The Harley-Davidson Women's Diva II is available in sizes XS through XL for a pretty decent $155 (€112).
