The new BMW 5 Series (F10-sedan and F11- Touring) is on its way of becoming one of the favorite vehicles in the tuning companies’ portfolios.
BMW has put a lot of work into the car, making sustained efforts to offer a complex package that combines top driving dynamics with an aggressive (but not exaggerated) look. However, for aftermarket developers this only means that they have a better base to work on.
Earlier today, we showed you what AC Schnitzer can do for your F11 BMW 5 Series, with the tuner offering a complex tuning kit that targets the vehicle’s engine, suspension, exterior and interior. Now, it is time to see what Hamann offers for the 5 Series.
A Hamman modification package for the F10 5 Series was released back in July, but since then, the tuner has also created other aftermarket parts for the car. This piece of news has the aim to show the latest products coming from the German tuner. We are talking about a new front bumper and a small rear spoiler.
The first comes with a design that is rather unusual for a BMW, using a complex layout with styling cues that remind us of Audi’s RS range. The new bumper comes with generously-sized air intakes and uses a new type of mesh grille. This also comes with a double pair of daytime running lights that have been beautifully integrated and use LED technology. As for the second item, this is a discreet bootlid lip spoiler that seems to fit the vehicle perfectly.
