It seems like no matter how much fun we make of their ‘angry’ kit for the BMW M5, Hamann is laughing straight to the bank with it. The German tuner is selling kits by the handful and one of them was just spotted in China, on the famous Beijing Tuning Street.
The Mis5ion was introduced for the first time last year and Hamann quickly pointed out that it was like nothing you’ve ever seen before. On that account they were right. However, different doesn’t always mean better and this is the perfect example.
With this kit, the Germans proved, once again, that their models aren’t just for anyone. If you want to turn your M5 into one of these, you should know that there are plenty of parts that need to be added to the car’s body.
The Mi5Sion body kit includes a completely new front bumper along with a similar rear one, both of them featuring noticeably more aggressive designs and wider, bigger air intakes/outlets.
Looking from the back you’ll also notice a new carbon fiber boot lid spoiler as well as one for the rear window. On the sides, the massive air gills on the front fenders can’t be missed as well as the side skirts, the huge air intake on the rear doors and the extremely wide wheel arches.
Of course, a choice of Hamann wheels is also recommended as well as some engine tuning. After all, you can’t have your car only talk the talk but not walk the walk, right?
In this department, Hamann’s offering will take your car’s 4.4-liter V8 up to 620 HP and 760 Nm (560 lb-ft) of torque. Needless to say that you’ll also need new brakes and suspension to cope with the added torque and power. They have that too.
Considering the prices imported parts and cars in the luxury segment have in China, this owner must’ve really loved this design before buying it. If he’s happy, it’s all worth it, though!
