One more team has been completed for the upcoming GS Trophy competition in 2014, and it's now time for the Canadian riders to shine into the spotlight.
No less than three preliminary GS Challenges have been organized in Canada, in the provinces of Ontario, Quebec and Alberta to cover for the vastness of the country.

June saw the Montreal, Quebec GS Challenge for Easter Canada, followed by the Central Canada event, an inaugural battle at Horseshoe Valley in Ontario, with the final GS Challenge stage in Rocky Mountain, Alberta for the Western Canada.

All the three GS events span across three days full of fun and challenging riding and saw Matt Wareing becoming the third member of the Canadian team which will battle riders from all over the world in the GS Trophy 2014.

Matt thus joins Quebec GS Challenge winner, Patrice Glaaude and the Ontario GS Challenge winner Cory Hanson.

Canada placed in the 7th position in the 2012 GS Trophy, a competition which saw no less than 15 teams and 19 nations competing in the 7-day, 1,200-mile (1,930 km) adventure across the Andean high terrain between Chile and Argentina.
