Goodwood Festival of Speed Music Car Line-up Released

The 2010 Goodwood Festival of Speed will see the Goodwood cricket pitch, the world’s oldest pitch still in its original location, rocking to the sound of 20 car-inspired songs.

The Goodwood pitch will host a display of 20 cars immortalized in each song’s title or lyrics, with a troupe of dancers performing around each car as the corresponding song is played on a special radio show compiled and presented by the famous DJ Johnnie Walker.

The special display will support the “Cars, Stars and Guitars” musical moments, with top car-loving guitarists scheduled to perform live at the Festival, with the list including including Jeff Beck, ZZ Top founder Billy Gibbons and leading American blues guitarist Jimmie Vaughn.
