German Following His Satnav Hits a Toilet

We all know it will come a time when man will be no longer better than machine, a dark time for mankind when we will be hunted down by greasy A.I.s and become extinct thanks to our own technology. We all know it because we've all watched Terminator.

For most, that time is not here yet, but some have already sworn obedience to the machine. A German driver accidentally swore obedience to the wrong machine though, and followed his car’s satnav system's instructions to "Turn right now!" and violently exited the highway "about 30 metres before the crossing he was meant to take" before falling head-on into an eco-toilet, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.

If you’re tempted to think this was just a minor glitch, a moment’s lapse of concentration, you should know that before this accident happened, the same driver "drove his sport utility vehicle off the road into a building site", then took it "up a stairway" before totaling said convenience.

We suspect that the satnav had specific orders to kill the German. That’s why it tried over and over to take him off the road. The big question is why did the man keep blindingly obeying the electronic equipment.

No one got hurt, except the toilet. In the accident, the W.C. was instantly disabled, the car was damaged and the driver got a serious fine. We have no information on the driver’s intention to sue the car company, but judging by the recent financial reports, there’s not much to take anyway.
